How can we help?

37 how-to articles and answers across 11 categories — from placing an order to activating a SIM, keeping your number and understanding your bill.

What to expect when you order

Six stages from choosing a tariff to a working SIM. Nothing is charged at checkout and nothing is despatched until your agreement is signed.

  1. Step 01Today

    Choose your tariff

Pick a plan on EE, Vodafone or O2, on either a 24 month or 30 day term. Every headline price includes VAT, and business cards also show the ex VAT figure.

    • Filter by network, data allowance and monthly budget on the deals page
    • Compare against buying direct from the network before you commit
    • Add international minutes, data top-ups or roaming bolt-ons at checkout
  2. Step 02About 5 minutes

    Complete checkout

We collect your contact details, delivery address for the SIM, your Direct Debit details and — if you're keeping your number — your PAC code.

    • Nothing is taken from your account at checkout
    • Direct Debit details are encrypted before they are stored
    • Text PAC to 65075 on your current phone if you want to keep your number
  3. Step 03Within minutes

    Order confirmation

You get an email with your order reference (starting SD-) and a PDF order confirmation listing the tariff, term, monthly price inc VAT and any add-ons.

    • Check the details and reply to the email if anything needs changing
    • Keep the order reference handy for any support queries
  4. Step 04Same day

    Sign your mobile agreement

Before anything is despatched we email a private link to your mobile services agreement. Review the terms and sign online — it takes about a minute.

    • The link is unique to you and expires after 30 days
    • We record your name, the timestamp and IP address as your signature
    • A signed copy is emailed back to you for your records
  5. Step 051–3 working days

    Provisioning and despatch

Once the agreement is signed we place the connection with the network and post your SIM to the delivery address on the order.

    • SIMs are sent by Royal Mail to the address you gave at checkout
    • Triple-cut SIMs fit standard, micro and nano SIM trays
    • eSIM availability depends on the network and is confirmed by email
  6. Step 06On delivery

    Activation and your welcome pack

Put the SIM in your phone and follow the activation steps in your welcome pack. If you're porting, your number normally transfers within one working day.

    • Keep your old SIM in place until the port completes
    • Ports usually happen in the morning on a working day
    • Your first bill is collected by Direct Debit once the service is live
