1. Who we are

SimDeals.uk is operated by Dynatech Group Ltd (trading as Consult.IT), the data controller for personal information collected through this site.

2. Information we collect

Contact and order details: name, email address, telephone number, company name, billing and delivery address, chosen tariff, PAC and porting details, and any notes you give us.

Payment information: account holder name, sort code and bank account number provided for your Direct Debit mandate, together with the date, time and IP address at which the mandate was authorised.

Enquiry information: postcode and network interest submitted through the coverage checker or contact forms.

Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and referral or campaign parameters (UTM tags) where present.

3. How we use it and our lawful bases

Contract performance: to process and provision your order, arrange your Direct Debit, deliver your SIM, port your number and provide support.

Legal obligation: to keep accounting, VAT and communications records and to comply with regulatory obligations.

Legitimate interests: to prevent fraud, secure the site, understand how the site is used, and contact you about an enquiry you submitted.

Consent: for optional analytics and marketing cookies, and for any marketing emails. You can withdraw consent at any time.

4. Bank details and security

Bank account numbers are encrypted at rest and are never displayed in full anywhere in our systems, in emails, or to our staff — only the last four digits are visible.

The full account number is released only to the network or bank to set up your Direct Debit mandate. Access is logged and restricted.

5. Who we share information with

The underlying network for your service (EE, Vodafone, O2 or Sky) in order to provision and bill it.

Our service providers acting on our instructions: hosting and database providers, email delivery, and delivery/postal services.

Credit reference, fraud prevention and identity verification agencies where a check is required for a contract.

Regulators, law enforcement or professional advisers where we are legally required to do so. We never sell personal information.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are protected by UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

Order, billing and mandate records: six years after the end of the contract, to meet tax and legal requirements.

Enquiries that do not become orders: 24 months from last contact.

Analytics data: 14 months. Cookie consent choices: 12 months.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
