Moving your company's mobile numbers to a new network
How to bring every business number across with PAC codes, without losing calls or overlapping contracts.
Keeping your team's numbers matters more than almost anything else when you switch. Customers, suppliers and staff already have them saved. Here's how to move them cleanly.
Key takeaways
- Each number needs its own PAC code from your current provider.
- PAC codes last 30 days.
- Check your current contract end dates before ordering.
- Numbers normally move one working day after the PAC is submitted.

Get a PAC for every number
The account holder can text PAC to 65075 from each phone, or ask the current provider for a list of PAC codes for every line on the account. Each code is valid for 30 days.
Check contract end dates first
Moving a number before its minimum term ends can mean early termination charges from your current provider. Ask them for each line's end date, or switch the lines that are out of contract first.
On the switch day
Once your new SIMs arrive, we submit the PAC codes. Numbers usually move the next working day. Service may drop for a short time while the transfer completes; swap the SIMs once the old ones stop working.
Common questions
Can we move some numbers and not others?
Yes. Give us PAC codes only for the numbers you want to keep; the other lines get new numbers.
Does the old contract cancel automatically?
Transferring a number with a PAC cancels that line with your old provider, but any early termination charges they apply are still owed to them.
